  • BBQ RIBS – Slow mezquite-smoked BBQ pork ribs with our spicy cowboy beans and Sweet Corn on the Cob. 100 pesos
  • LASAGNA – A mildly spicy bolognese sauce and spinach, 3 cheeses, mushrooms, eggplant, olives and ground beef and herbs. With garlic bread and a salad. 75 pesos
  • HOUSE SALAD – Mixed greens and seasonal veggies with homemade garlic ranch or Italian dressing. 35 pesos regular size and 60 pesos for the large.
  • OYSTERS ROCKEFELLER – Roasted on the half shell with Oysters roasted in a bed of Spinach, Parmesan and Swiss cheeses, Herbs, Onion, Pernod, Anise and Butter. 4 for 50 pesos or 10 for 100 pesos.
  • OYSTERS MORDIDA – Roasted on the half shell with Mushroom, Bacon, Parmesan and Swiss Cheeses, Chiles and Garlic Butter. 4 for 50 pesos or 10 for 100 pesos.
    Mix or Match half orders of any oysters.

FIRE AT MORDIDAS

No, not that kind.

I guess I should have said “No fire at Mordidas” because our stoves are not working today so we are firing up the BBQ grill and almost all food will be cooked with real fire (with a few things heated in the evil microwave).

What this means, essentially, is no oysters today. We sold out yesterday and it is not worth running to the oyster man and getting more if I cannot serve the Oysters Rockefeller, our most popular oyster menu item.

SUNDAY’S REVISED MENU:

  • Grilled Foot Long all-beef Hot Dogs or Chorizo plus Cowboy Beans and Coleslaw… 45 pesos
  • Beef Stew and Mashed Potatoes… 80 pesos for a big bowl
  • A limited amount of Lasagna (with salad)… 75 pesos
  • Salads, of course… 35 & 60 pesos depending on size
  • …and lots of cold cerveza and healthy mixed drinks.

    • … with all drinks half price for Ladies or anyone appearing to be a lady.
