Absinthe is the international bad boy of alcohol, by reputation, if not by reason.
It has long been associated, erroneously, with insanity, having been popular with many crazed artists and bohemians such as Van Gogh, Oscar Wilde, Baudelaire, Picasso, Hepting, Poe, Lord Byron, etc.
I have been a fan for many years….
What I am offering is my collection. Some of the bottles are new, some are partially used. A few chachkas and souvenirs are included. This collection is special and will be sold as a whole only.
MOST OF THE BOTTLES ARE SOLD.
All for $4000 pesos ($200 US)
All brands listed are of modern production except Dale Pendell’s. He produced this in small quantities from an old, old formula (a formula from before the modern prohibition).
ONE BOTTLE LEFT:
Grande Absente – France – 750 ml – 3/4 full – 130 proof (new $65 +/- a bottle) – $1200 pesos
