On Friday, September 15, Mordidas will celebrate Mexican Independence with a fried chicken popup.
Technically the restaurant is closed until October 4, but…. Mordidas will open from 5 to 11 pm on this holiday.
The meal will consist of traditional Mexican Southern Fried Chicken, with coleslaw and mashed potatoes & saffron gravy. A limited quantity of fried chicken livers will also be available. 99 pesos (almost free).
“Seconds” are totally free but there will be no doggie bags or take-outs.
Eat what you put on your plate or leave it for the dogs.
- Cerveza is 15 pesos.
- Good Margaritas are 20 pesos.
- Wine is 35 pesos.
- House booze is half price.
- Other booze is regular price.
