Christmas dinner in Puerto Vallarta
If Santa didn’t come down your chimney and no one gave you the presents that you wanted and you failed to respond to all of that chirpy holiday good cheer and no one invited you to the best parties, Mordidas will be open on Xmas, Wednesday, December 25, for our traditional Xmas After-Party. We guarantee an L-Tryptophan experience like you had (or wished you had) at Grandma’s on Xmas-past.
The lucky people will be hung over from the traditional Noche Buena parties and the luckier ones will be looking to get hungover. Many gringo bars and restaurants will be closed here in Vallarta on this holiday but we will be open. We’ll open at 5 pm and close at about 11, más o menos … or for as long as consciousness, the food and booze last.
The charge is $195 pesos for the dinner. The bar will be open with happy hour prices from 5 – 11 pm. The table service will be family-style, with dinner being served at 6 or so. The menu is roasted turkey, country mashed potatoes & gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce and sweet potatoes with marshmallows. There will be assorted pies for dessert. …Perfect comfort food for the seasonally depressed, the hung over or the just plain ol’ hungry for a good home-cooked meal.
There will be no sports or traditional music on the TV but we will have a small decorated tree.
We know how to cure hangovers & hunger.
Because of space limitations and because we need to know how much to cook, this dinner is reservation only. There will be limited seating.
Please email ojorojoster@gmail.com to reserve.
